Surrounding the perimeter of the Memorial is the Legacy brick walkway comprised of more than 5,500 engraved bricks placed by individuals, corporations and civic organizations. This walkway has added a powerful dimension to the Memorial, giving visitors a sense of respect and honor as they reflect on the stories told by the bricks.
